Should Miserable Fellow change his name to Twittership of the Miserable?December 7, 2018 at 2:07 pm #133611
Always wondered what made him “the Wop” and not, say, any of the other guys
“Notfanuthin, I thought I liked wearing warm-ups to christenings and grabbing my braciole, but this guy ovah here!”
In keeping with Tony Lip/Frankie The Wop/Carmine Sr. Friday, I think I learned this trivia when reading about the new movie Green Book, which his RL son wrote & which features Viggo Mortensen as Tony Lip himself!
I had no idea the guy had such an interesting life.
Always found it interesting also that Carmine was one of the few in the Soprano world who lived a good long life as a gangster and died an old man of natural causes. Though his golf course death scene involving the egg salad grosses me out more than any of the bloody or violent ones.December 7, 2018 at 2:22 pm #133612December 7, 2018 at 3:05 pm #133614
Took the liberty of making it one thread; business has been slow around here lately.
Does anyone want to continue with the trivia question from yesterday: who was the person who was in G1 (uncredited), Goodfellas and The Sopranos?
My guess (purely) was the Beansie guy…someone else said Phil Leotardo but it wasn’t him (although “Phil” is one, and perhaps the only one; to be in Casino, Goodfellas and The Sopranos).
Can anyone come up with another movie besides The Talented Mr Ripley that had Rebhorn, Phil Bake Hall and Phil Sey Hoffman all in it? I cannot.
Scent of a Woman?
No “Bookman” in that one. Was PSH ever in Seinfeld? The other two were, not in the same episodes, however.December 7, 2018 at 3:08 pm #133615
I see that Brian and Kevin Hart share similar opinions on what toys are appropriate for boys to play with.
Come back, Regular Brian.

Anyone that has kids, young boys mostly I would imagine, is likely familiar with Dude Perfect. Was reading something where their net worth is $20 million. I spit water everywhere.December 7, 2018 at 3:42 pm #133617
They are the guys with that godawful ad for a cellphone company, right? Is one of them slow?

Inconceivable. I’m going to shoot my guidance counselor.December 7, 2018 at 3:48 pm #133620
If I find out the guys on youtube who play video games are making millions I might go apeshit.December 7, 2018 at 4:29 pm #133621
Those Dude Perfect guys are here in Frisco. I think those guys are what 38 Studios wished it could be. When you drive by their office they are always outside doing something with a scooter, a basketball, hover board and all kinds of stuff.December 7, 2018 at 7:18 pm #133622
I found this interesting. Kevin Durant on the media fanboy attention warp of Lebron:
“So much hype comes from being around LeBron from other people,” Durant said. “He has so many fanboys in the media. Even the beat writers just fawn over him. I’m like, we’re playing basketball here, and it’s not even about basketball at certain points. So I get why anyone wouldn’t want to be in that environment because it’s toxic. Especially when the attention is bullshit attention, fluff. It’s not LeBron’s fault at all; it’s just the fact you have so many groupies in the media that love to hang on every word. Just get out of the way and let us play basketball.”December 7, 2018 at 9:50 pm #133623
