Marge Kidder, one of the greats, Danny.

Poor woman had a terrible time with mental health struggles. RIP Lois.

I don’t read PK’s stuff other than what is posted here, but I’m sure he includes an asterisk and explanatory footnote every time he references Roethlisberger, right?

How great would it be tomorrow night if the Lakers ended up with the 2nd or 3rd pick, Automatically sending it to Boston? It’s under a 3% chance, but it would be amazing.

If that happened there’s no way Cleveland would move out of the 8 spot right?  Imagine laughing at Cleveland the rest of the night after that goes down.

If not, the C’s get Sacramentos pick next year, right?

Tony Maz hates next year’s draft.  Yes, he really said that.

If you walked up to him right now and asked him the teams in the Final Four 45 days ago, he might hit on Villanova.  Other than that, zip.

If Kidder passed yesterday, Peter King would have something today like, “I’m sure Margot Kidder is somewhere in the universe pushing around Christopher Reeves.”

Tone deaf Pete would have Reeves riding up to Kidder on a horse and the two of them riding off together.

unless it’s #1, if so then (I believe) they get the better of philly and Sac’s pick in 2020

I think it’s they get the better of either Philly or Sacramento in ’19 unless the ‘better’ pick lands at 1 in which case they get the ‘worse’ pick in the ’19 draft.

LeBron shows off photographic memory of Celtics’ run

And while those who watch James are typically impressed with how he uses his speed and skill to generate highlight plays, those who know James or spend a lot of time with him are more frequently blown away by the almost curious power of his mind.

If the Commonwealth were to actually allow betting on sports, the Board is really at a disadvantage not having a dean of sports gambling anymore. 🙁

Considering the rate at which we are getting legalized pot, I dont hold too much hope on the sports gambling front.

Although I’m down to serve on the sports gambling commission like the casino commissioners did (ten years of paychecks and junkets and no casino has opened yet :wall:

Spooky coincidence that gilbert gottfried podcast had Richard Donner on today.

Bonus fact: Gene Hackman the actor seems like Norman Dale the character during his college coaching days.

King is such a dope he probably would have confused Margot Kidder with Karen Allen and made an bad “Animal House'” reference.

They only make it this complex so that they can’t keep track of what Bill got back for Jimmy Garrappolo.

It’s a strange argument. I’d contend fixing football ATS is about the easiest potential fix there is.

I’d buy that it’s easier to compromise someone into giving up useful fantasy info than to actually affect outcome.

Most likely Roger sent the talking points to Fatty who told Breer to make it sound like he wrote them. Breer just changed the names and hit send.

Eli Manning’s fraud trial started today. I’m sure, any minute now, the big guns in the media are going to descend on the NY football Giants HQ, demanding answers. It will happen shortly after Goodell releases a strongly worded statement saying how disappointing the situation is and all options are on the table in terms of league discipline. Maybe some fanboy at one of the NY papers can write a piece on how to explain to the children that “our Eli” was cheating NFL fans out of their hard earned dollars.

Well, there’s a shock- Eli settled the fraud suit with a confidentiality agreement before trial could start.

I am sure all the “he must have done it, innocent people don’t settle” people who shot their mouths off when Brady dropped his pursuit of appeal will now apply the same standard to Eli.

Let’s not hold our collective breath waiting for Peter King to ask for the truth to be told.

He’ll probably give him the half assed finger wave just to show he cares about the shield or just do what Roger tells him to do.

Eli wrote emails to the equipment guy saying get 2 helmets that can pass as game used, which of course he really meant helmets that met the ‘standard’ of game used and not trying to pull one over on the memorabilia guys at all.  Nosiree not Archie’s boy.  I’m sure he cooperated fully and turned over devices to aid the investigation

I don’t mind him. Of course I watch a lot of basketball where Doris and Hubie never stop talking so I’ve learned to block a lot of it out.
