Davis finally waived his trade kicker.  Lakers also traded a few guys I’ve never heard of to the Wizards for space.  That’s got Kyrie written all over it.

Sounds like it was actually part of the Davis trade, Pelicans get cash in the deal.  It may not be Kyrie, they could be going for Kawhi or someone else like Russell if Irving wants to go to Brooklyn.

I think Kawhi has, to his credit, made a hard pass on the Lakers.  Something about wanting to beat LeBron, not join him.  Clippers seem more likely.

Right, I think he might have actually been a Clippers fan as a kid.  It still might entice him, the Clippers are an amalgam of weird players anymore.  They could win 55 games or lose 55 games.  I’m thinking he stays in Toronto for a another run, no reason they can’t come out of the East again.

Great to break the 4th wall briefly with Claude at kids’ camp yesterday.

    Another summer of freedom!

Lebron giving Davis 23 and he’s going back to 6.  Probably giving him a seat on the banana boat too #hellofrisco

I’m here for the hoops and vasectomy talk.

    Seriously, great board today.

I’ll chime in-I’m 50 in 2 years, and for my 50th I’m climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.  Wife’s barren, so never had kids.  Stunned how little I’ve missed it.  The list of people I can tolerate as much as I can my dogs is getting shorter the older I get.  I’m nice and cranky now, and can’t to see what a miserable prick I turn into as I get older.  But I ride my Peloton 5-6 days a week, I’m down to the weight I was when I got out of the Army in 2000, and my knees hurt less.

And my shaved head is a choice.

Oh, and when I was in Bosnia as a medic I did vasectomies in our clinic.  They’re a breeze.  Got my time down to about 6 minutes stick to close.  Enjoy your days off!

Do you like the Peloton?  I’ve thought about one for winter months.

Absolutely love it.  Got it more for the wife, and I’ve been stunned at how addicted I’ve gotten to it.  I’m not as cultish as some of the folks seem to be about it, but I love it.  Bike is really high quality, and there are thousands of classes on demand.  Plus the phone app lets you do coached runs outdoors, and they have stuff like yoga and boot camp classes as well.  Definitely recommend.

DM me if you have any specific questions I can answer for you.

Had my V 15-16 years ago. Easiest thing in the world. The only “complication” was the follow up. Need to bring in a sample for a test and they don’t want you rubbing one out in the parking lot so I figured I’d just go into the bathroom at work and get it done a few minutes before i leave. Needing a little motivation I decided to print off a little reading material (no iPad yuoporn back then). Problem was I did not pull it all off the printer and later that afternoon all 20 people in my office got a pretty detailed email from our VP about the exploits of a guy named John and the hitch hiker he picked up. Needless to say she wasn’t very happy. Had to cop to the President about it. Still hear about it to this day and it’s a pretty good laugh………

Oh, and 50 (May this year) is easy except for the whole waking up and everything hurts for no reason thing. Actually I feel better now than I have in years. Losing 40lbs of my gut and 160lbs off a marriage will do that to you…….

Wonder if the people upset about TB12 renting space from Kraft are equally upset about this clear salary cap circumvention?

AAC linked to a Sesame Street tweet involving the Yankees and Red Sox with the message #RespectBringsUsTogether. First reply is “fuck the red sox”

just adding to the mix over several topics on the thread.

Kid’s college tuition- started saving before he was born saved as if he was going to Stanford/Havard (letting the grades dictate that). We saved like crazy for his education for two years before he was born and until last year. Now he wants to be a pilot I’m like great go to the military there is the retirement house on the East or West coast. I’m Texas’d out.

Had the V done 10 years ago. Never brought a sample back, figured if it hurt that bad it did the job. Had the V for another reason, the pill was making the Mrs. go crazy physically and mentally.

Health/Gym I have a thing like Peloton called the Mirror, it does yoga, strength training, boxing, cardio….so after a conference call I just turn it on and do a work out. Been doing yoga a lot, at 48 it does make me more mobile. Really like the Mirror while it compliments my riding a mountain bike and just going to a gym that costs $10.00 a month to do leg work outs.

Summer largely alone. Probably a good time for me to start a better exercise routine. Soccer 2x a week at 45 is good but not enough to lose the gut.
