Seeing folks using one bad game from Patricia to rip the Pats defensive system again.

They should definitely be more like a team like the Vikings with pretty defensive stats. They’d never let a schmuck like Foles torch them in a playoff matchup.

On the flip side we’re all being asked to ignore the Jimmy G game on Sunday.  Doesn’t change a thing, Brady’s done next year and Bill is stupid.

I was too lazy to comment yesterday about the SI/MMQB/Breer announcement. The title of the press release (“Nationally Renowned NFL Expert” –link) was so over the top, I’m not even sure Breer could have written it. Then again, maybe he did or was completely fine with it. Also, if you’re Klemko or Vrentas, how pissed off must you be now? They were both there from the beginning of MMQB in 2013. Breer joined in April, 2016 and he’s the guy who gets tabbed for a “leading role?” I think it was Lebron who pointed out last week 2 good, informative articles that LoveKlemko had produced recently. I don’t think anyone has ever said that about a Breer article. Also, Breer never stays at one employer for an extended period. The only thing I can think of is that the higher ups at SI thought “He reminds me of a young me” and ignored Albert’s lack of talent and penchant for wearing out his welcome.

His continual gainful employment remains a mystery. I can’t recall a single story he ever broke, a scoop he had that somebody else didn’t have first. Near as I can figure, his biggest claim to fame was his reporting during the 2011 lockout. Remember his reporting from the lawn chair outside the hotel in Minneapolis?

    I banned myself.

That’s what makes this so difficult.

Hey, is there any way Bert’s history of menacing could be brought to greater attention? Did we have the docs on that? I’d obviously hate to see something like that affect his promotion, but I know he’s a big believer in full transparency.

Asking for for a friend, of course.

Apparently Twitter is an alluring mistress, we’ve seemingly lost a number of posters to full time positions over there.

I could listen to Live in Alabama on any given day.  My 2 cents, but I prefer a live energy

I thought those were no good in Ma. Or does the boss being in NH change this?

Live Free or Die state allows Non Compete? Thats a conundrum.

Kosher Salt too. Other that those two ingrediants I have no idea what that is.

Wahlberg’s supposed daily schedule.  Prayer time?  90 minute shower?  half hour for golf, is it mini golf? 90 minute snack before going in the cryo chamber, then a half hour snack after the cryo chamber?  Who knew cryo chambers made you hungry?

I’m done trying to post images/pics, WordPress eats it every time.  I liked this one comment

It’s a far cry from the daily routine of Hunter S Thompson, which, as the historian Alex von Tunzelmann reminds us, involved getting up at 3pm, drinking epic quantities of whiskey and coffee, snorting cocaine, dropping acid and watching pornographic movies in the hours after midnight when he was supposed to be writing.

Burkhead has a concussion? No wonder they are signing so many RB.

So Jen Royle has (allegedly) a new restaurant opening. At least she has a menu. Table by Jen Royle.

I’m setting the over/under of zero days open. I expect a landlord/supplier/medical/emotional issue to crop up in this cruel, unfair world. Another dream of Jen’s scuttled through no fault of her own.

I laughed out loud yesterday when I saw they had Trans Am Tate in for a tryout before they signed Barner.

I was looking for some reaction to Coleman taking Garoppolo’s number.

It’s going to be open this spring summer fall November (maybe). Just remember this place is being “opened” by somebody who couldn’t last two weeks in a professional kitchen.

This makes him completely qualified to fill Fattys shoes. King never broke a story unless it was fed to him. His column was nothing more than a bunch of quotes from stupid conversations and his pontificating on how we should meet his lofty standards.

Breer has the first one covered so expect more nonsense no one should read.

You seem to have forgotten his Emmy-winning furtive glances at  various (well, two are all there are in the studio) cameras of  the DeathCat, TommEE, and assorted HotTakers show on the ______ Sports New England newsbreaking show(s).

Shank is doing his usual search for innovative takes on sports events worthy of his HoF talents.

Like tennis. Specifically women’s tennis. Serena Williams is in the news, so that means Shank.

Kinda. Getting an interview with Serena or her coach or her entourage or her husband or her trainer or her hair stylist, cosmetician, equipment handler or anyone else would require someone to take his call. Oddly enough, “Tell her Dan Shaughnessy, legendary Hall of Fame columnist for the world-renowned Boston Globe is waiting.” doesn’t cause the general populace or even sports stars to run to answer any longer.

Not to worry. Dan has his connections. His Serena column is an interview only he could get: Meghann Shaughnessy, the Great One’s niece.

Full front-page promotion to alert potential readers, naturally.

I don’t think “and he blew it” was a Beatles song.

I watched Copland over the weekend for the 96th time

At least three Soprano minor characters in that one, plus Henry Hill and Jimmy Conway.

Carmella, Paulie, Dave Scatino, Gloria, Carlo, and I think Mikey Palmici. Love that flick, everyone is SOMEONE I KNOW!

Artie Bucco and the FBI head too. I must have missed a bunch of scenes to miss some of these folks.
