John Henry’s team got their teeth kicked in 5-0 today by Man City.

Have fun with this….
I listen to the Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan’s podcast and they take questions via email so every other week I will send in a question for amusement and he will answer. This week I think he had good time with my question…
“Taskmaster, how come in the four major sports Baseball, Football, Hockey and Wrestling why does the state athletic commission not shut down a Red Sox vs Yankee game when there is bench clearing brawl, but when there is blood in a wrestling match they will shut the event down?”
He got the punchline and ran with it letting me know I have the four majors mixed up and said “The state athletic commission is mostly for boxing or wrestling.”
Couple weeks back I asked him what green mist tasted like, his reply was “Its just food coloring and make sure you don’t get that in your eyes it really does sting.”September 9, 2017 at 9:23 pm #108822September 9, 2017 at 10:43 pm #108823
Why does Brohio State have the world’s largest flag pole centered right behind one end zone? It must completely ruin the site lines for thousands of fans.
That’s a shame.
As is the current score.September 9, 2017 at 11:55 pm #108824September 10, 2017 at 12:05 am #108825
Baker Mayfield planting the OU flag midfield at OSU must be hitting Breer hard Bro. Disrespecting Urbtopia.

So it's simple now. Own the conference, as usual. And get back in the playoff again. See you guys for more football tomorrow. #GoBucks

Sure, a team that was treading water with Indiana for over a half at home, and followed that up by being dominated at home by Oklahoma will go undefeated the rest of the way. Simple.September 10, 2017 at 10:52 am #108832September 10, 2017 at 10:54 am #108833

Any chance they could do that but lose out on a playoff spot to a 2 loss team?

There is no one in the stands in LA for the Rams Colts game.
That’s why you just HAD to get two teams in that town.
I know, I know. “It’s a real estate deal.” “Revenue!” “The fans can’t comprehend the complexities of NFL decision making.” Somehow, it’s never about football.September 10, 2017 at 4:40 pm #108847
Jesus, right on cue. I flip back to twitter and Andrew Brandt has this on the Rams crowd.
“Ticket sales down the list of team revenues.”
That’s nice. Then why have people in the stands at all? Lower the operational costs significantly. I mean it’s not embarrassing to have a few thousand people in the stands for a team that just moved into the market. Not at all.September 10, 2017 at 4:54 pm #108848September 10, 2017 at 5:32 pm #108849
It’d be the right town to hire extras to fill the stands.
They can list the games in their film credits.

You can’t give tickets away for either the Rams or chargers in this town right now. I must have had 3 or 4 people casually mention in conversation that “they had tix if I knew anyone interested..” There are still far more Raider fans than Chargers/Rams combined. Though if the Rams had a good team I can see that changing here in bandwagon town.September 10, 2017 at 7:08 pm #108854
Unlike the Fox talking heads, I’ve got a hunch that a big reason why the Green Bay defense looks so good is the horrendous nature of the Seattle O-line.
