Americans reunion of sorts on Billions with Special Agent Stan Beeman directing and Director Gaad/John Boy as the menacing philanthropist.

Don’t forget that Pastor Tim and Dollar Bill are the same actor.

That one gets me every time.  Wags/Gail from Breaking Bad — not hard to distinguish appearance wise but completely different roles.  And Ahmad Rashad/Mrs. Huxtable’s daughter does a bang up job.

Speaking of The Americans, I thought for sure that Phillip and Elizabeth were going to bone down in front of Paige to show her this “technique”.

I loved how neither of them cared if Paige was banging the neighbor boy.  Oh that’s OK, suck his dick, anal, whatever.  Give it up.  But don’t give up the family secret.

I just read a finale/1st season recap of this is us, and I’m convinced that you guys have a secret side thread where I’ve been targeted for trolling

By this measure, I could read the back cover of Moby Dick and be like, “Ehh, guy chases a whale for 800 pages. Pass.”

Does anyone here like Baskets?   I watched a few episodes the last couple of weeks.   Really liked it.

Bailed on the OA. Good call Donc 😆

Season 2 is greenlit!  I might have to give it a hate watch. :wall:

Season 3 of Broadchurch has been absolutely fantastic.  I’m sad it’s the final season but man that show has been so good.  Really interested to see what the creator does with Dr. Who when he takes over next year.  Broadchurch has done a very good job dealing with some really horrifying subject matter, and the cast is superb.

One of my coworkers is binge watching “Sons of Anarchy”. She finished the first two seasons and is watching the third. She wanted to know if the show gets better when they get to Belfast. I felt that I owed it to her to give her the bad news.

Stumbled on an old Moesha rerun from 1996 – the one featuring Kobe Bryant.

Carolla has a new show on Spike where he builds stuff live. Tonight he’s building a panic room with Sandler.

Assume he had a deal where they were required to give him a slot or pay him anyhow?

I don’t think he has an overall. I think it’s a matter of bringing a good demo for a small investment, even if it’s like 300k viewers or whatever that show would do. All timeslot shit.

All caught up yet? When do we talk about Reese Witherspoon’s six year old’s ridiculously precocious taste in music?

I like the show. A little soapy. Still better than Westurd.

Anyone watching Legion? Love it so far

I’m loving it too. Glad it was renewed for season 2. I know jack shit about the X-men and haven’t seen any of the movies but that doesn’t hamper my enjoyment one bit.

I like it a lot more after that infodump explaining what was going on last week. If you need to do an expository episode, that moving chalk drawing thing they did was a great way to do it.

What’s the plan- they are going to tell who got offed in the next episode and we wait a year to figure out who did it?

Limited series, so this is it.

Milch working with Pizzalotto on True Detective Season 3 apparently. That could go one of two ways.

Theories on who dies and who’s the killer?

It can’t be so obvious that Kidman’s husband is also the rapist, right?

He has to be the rapist. Otherwise, blow the whole thing up. I don’t think the show is bold enough to make anyone other than him die. No one else “deserves” to and the tone has been too light for it to be anyone else. As for who does it, that’s where the surprise will be, IMO. It’s not the most likely people – Kidman or Ziggy’s mother. My question is what’s the point of the Reese and her ex storyline? I’m going with the older daughter because otherwise all the time we’ve wasted on that is irrelevant.

I think the point of every husband on the show is to be a red herring. All of them had scenes have had scenes pointing them to be capable of rage.

They’ve certainly made it a point to never have Jane in the same place as Kidman’s husband. It’s just so obvious.

Old Mandy Moore is in a disguise that The Americans decided was too unbelievable.
