The Bruins get Justice- no way they deserved an extra penalty. Edit- I’m a complete idiot. I’m going to check out MST3K and Rifftrax.

For Rifftrax I suggest Death Promise, Samurai Cop, Honor & Glory, Deadly Prey, The Room, and Birdemic.  Any of those are fantastic, hell add in Miami Connection as well.  Their catalogue if frigging massive, I’ve spent a good $300 on it over the past decade plus.

Great start for the final season of The Leftovers, really intrigued to see where it’s going to go.

My initial guess is that they end up hiding out in Australia under new identities after people read and like the ending of the Book of Kevin.

Quite the head injury to Dean, the likes I haven’t seen since Gus Fring.

Didn’t know Nora Durst is married to Senator/CIA Director Lockhart from Homeland, and he won a Pulitzer as the writer of August: Osage County.  Also won a Tony.

Wow, I totally didn’t get that Chuck was setting up for Ernie to tell Jimmy about the tape last week. I thought that seemed like really clunky writing. But it turned out to be brilliant.

Just finished big little lies and did not see perry as the rapist coming at all   I’m bad at this. Really good though I always felt awful after each episode.

Halfway through man in the high castle 2nd season. I like it better than I thought I would. I can say I did see Long Island nazi killing the dr before he could reveal the son was a cripple

Only two murders in the first Fargo Season 3 episode…I think the season over-under has to be around 45.

Definitely a chick show.  Doesn’t mean I didn’t dig it.  Interesting sub-message that all of the women’s problems were caused by men, with the last scene of the mothers and kids on the beach joyous with no dads around.  A bit ham handed for me.

Count me as the 1 person on the planet who just cannot get into This Is Us.  I’ve tried.  It’s just not there for me.

The Leftovers is great. But who weeps at a fictional TV show?

LOST finale and This Is Us excepted, of course.

Added bonus to This is Us is looking over at my wife and laughing if she’s starting to well up.

It’s the only time MASH ever made me laugh.

What made him weep with laughter?  Cousin Larry?  He’s been on before.  Then what, the Wu Tang references?  Get a fucking life.  I won’t even venture to dissect what that fucking pussy cried about.

I was hoping the Giamatti/Siff S&M stuff went the way of Chuck from Happy Days.

Yeah, I don’t really get that either.

That the adopted baby is back with her mother and away from two nutjobs like Kevin and Nora?

I’m slow on the uptake, didn’t put 2 and 2 together on the title of the episode – Don’t Be Ridiculous

American Gods-Super trippy, but I really dug the first episode.

The title of the episode should have been SNATCH EATS MAN.

I was fine with the Leftovers mostly because I like Scott Glenn in general.  Since they only have a handful of episodes left I didn’t look at it like a Nikki/Paolo Lost episode, you at least get where the broads playing dunk tank with the outback sheriff was coming from, and Kevin’s dad does seem to think Kevin is some sort of messiah/prophet.   Sets up Kevin/Nora’s coming to Australia a bit.

On the flip side I thought Billions was fantastic.  You knew there was some kind of play going especially when they were carting the guy into the ambulance and the camera panned to the woman on the sidewalk observing, but it could have been Ax’s person for all we knew.  And Giamatti was a bit too defiant in selling when Siff told him about the short.
