Case in point: this woman seems legitimately mentally ill. <span class=”embed-youtube” style=”text-align: center; display: block;”>[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgVbxPpTHWc?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&autohide=2&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=transparent%5D</span>
Y
Oh, and yeah, probably mentally ill.
Holy shit, she has another spoiler filled review that’s 40 fucking mins long!
“Kubrickian”?
March 28, 2016 at 3:49 pm #44186So shaving prisoner’s heads doesn’t violate the 8th Amendment? ‘But we needed Lex to be bald.’ Oh, eff off.
I just remembered they brought Costner back to give another annoying speech!
Did Costner decide Pa Kent now has a midwestern twang for BvS?
At least it wasn’t his 13 Days Bawstawn one!
March 28, 2016 at 6:19 pm #44214“Save Martha? How could I save Martha? He had a gun! I was just a little boy; a little boy with an awful haircut back in 1981!” (Tosses aside K-spear, collapses to ground, sobbing)

I know you’re adopted, but you call your Mom by her first name? You really are weird!

Well she does have a point about the press.
I think there’s a yuge drop off at the box office next weekend.
Wait, what?
March 29, 2016 at 8:55 am #44239Oh yeah, they also put a child sex trafficking subplot in a summer tentpole comic book movie.

Lois is the one who threw out the name Martha.
You know, Lois Lane, Clark Kent’s “constant”.
Hold on a second Mr. Doomsday Earth killer. I have to save the old broad I am shacked up with. She has to be around to mourn me proper like.
That Grace Randolph seems sweet. Batshit crazy and has the stalker vibe but, as BSF34 stated, Y. Why not?
March 29, 2016 at 9:15 am #44244Lois explains who Martha is, but Superman says it first.
My girl Grace has another video I Daw where she watches the new Ghostbusters trailer so you can get her instant reactions.
March 29, 2016 at 2:14 pm #44321March 29, 2016 at 2:19 pm #44323This was one of the few cool parts:
There are even some really good moments, like which Superman tries to punch Batman after sucking up a cloud of kryptonite gas, and Armored Batman blocks it merely by raising his arm, and the look of shock on Superman’s face is pretty great. That was in a lot of the preview footage, but an equally great scene that wasn’t: Batman is punching Superman in the face repeatedly, but the gas is wearing off, and there’s this fantastic sound of Batman’s fist hitting something harder and harder while Superman goes from looking punch-drunk to very, very angry.
March 29, 2016 at 2:27 pm #44325Loved this. http://io9.gizmodo.com/batman-v-superman-spoiler-faq-of-justice-1767720335
Some valid points, some easily explained. Again it’s not a perfect movie, but good grief do people love to frigging bash it. (and yes I really liked Man of Steel…)

It’s all easily explained. The writers and director are awful hacks and they actually hate these characters.
People love to bash it because they don’t want to see this crew make more of these dour borefests.
I usually despise “What about the children?” talk, but a superhero movie is supposed to be for children.

Not all superhero movies have to be for children, it’s not like Marvel is going away anytime soon. I think things like Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad will be more “fun” and happy. I’m perfectly fine with these tones, it’s far more realistic that shit like this would be incredibly dark, full of death, and his mom was right. People suck and they don’t deserve to be saved all the time.
March 29, 2016 at 3:23 pm #44339Seriously?
It’s Batman and Superman.
If it’s not for kids, I don’t know who it’s for.

It can still be “not for kids”, it just shouldn’t suck. And I’m not hating on the movie like some but it does have directing and writing issues that I hope can be corrected in time for Justice League.
Wait, what?
March 29, 2016 at 4:06 pm #44352BvS had the worst Friday to Sunday decline for a superhero movie in the last six years.
It acknowledges the issue of Easter, but its decline from Friday to Saturday was relatively poor, too.
Come back, Regular Brian.
My agenda is truth.
March 30, 2016 at 11:39 am #44510Warner Bros.’ Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice snatched the Tuesday record in March with $12.2M, beating The Hunger Games’ previous high of $10.3M. Total domestic cume now stands at $193.27M, and at this pace BvS will cross the two-century mark today. BvS is down 19% from Monday’s $15M. Worldwide yesterday, BvS raked in $46M for the day. International, which Warner Bros. will likely update today, was at $287.5M through Monday.

Wait, what?
March 30, 2016 at 10:41 pm #44674Wait, why is Wayne Enterprises headquarters located in Metropolis, not Gotham?

Branch office. But still, this is why having the cities so close one can be seen from the other was a mistake.

March 31, 2016 at 12:40 am #44678I kind of feel sorry for DC comics fans. Having Zach Snyder adapt your favorite characters to screen must be like watching the girl you love dating a total douchebag asshole.

Saw an article yesterday saying with all the focus these movies give regarding the unintended consequences of trying to do good, if Zack Snyder directed a Stawberry Shortcake movie he’d focus mainly on diabetes.

OK.
He highlights a good point. The talking squirrel has more personality in one team-up movie than Superman has shown in two of his own movies.
Even a talking fucking tree that only says one word has more personality.
