You know what? For as much crap as that talentless hump douchebag Bedard gets, it’s not enough. His latest Kyrie tweets are such fucking garbage. Cannot wait for that fat slob’s complete and utter capitulation to failure.

Preach On, Brother IH. :wub:You’re doing fine work!

    That’s gold, Suzy! Gold!

What did Almost A Coach tweet about Kyrie Irving?

Howzie yes I’m about 10 minutes from Red Rocks. Great venue, nothing like it actually. Admittedly I pretty much don’t go to concerts anymore as so many are on weeknights and if I don’t get the reserved section I don’t like having to deal with the general admission. Christ I sound old this morning.

I don’t know if Turnpike is your cup of meat, but damn, I wish I could go to the show. Almost had Darlene convinced we should drive up, but then she got sick again so no go.

On a Bruins-related note, that game last night was so damned stressful, I think I drank a case of beer. 3:15 came way to early this morning, so now I sound old too

I’ll only deal with GA for certain artists. Have 3 nights of GA Billy Bragg at the Sinclair later this year. But he’s literally doing every song from his first 7 albums, plus a career spanning set on Saturday

My old ass needs a seat. I get claustrophobic in crowds.

I’ll buy VIP if available for a reasonable price, for the reason that I cant deal with that either. With Darlene in her wheelchair, we get kinda VIP in GA settings.  When we saw Turnpike Troubadours in December we got put actually IN the VIP section. At T-Mobile for hockey, it’s kind of a screw job, because you get the last row of the upper or lower bowl…I think our Bruins tix ended up 300 or 400 bucks apiece.

    Thank you. AAC:

I just don’t want to hear how impressed he is with himself, which he’s done a few times. I’ve never like that from any player. The great ones let their play say everything.

Irving scored 37 points in a playoff game to help his team secure a 2-0 lead in the series. The announcers noted that teams that go up 2-0 win the series 90+% of the time. This is an occasion where someone could justifiably pump up their accomplishments. Besides, was what Irving said or how he said it so bad? It’s not like he claimed his work ethic matched Tom Brady’s.

Also would not take alot of effort to find the Talentless DB hump(thanks suzy) trumpeting his own middling accomplishments like he cracked the genome.

Don’t you wish you could be as smart Coach Betard?

Every player in this town needs to complete the BB course on talking to the media. No matter what any player says is not right.

Sale says he sucks which you would think the media would like, nope. Irving says anything, not what they want to hear. It goes on and on.

Best reply IMHO: “Fortunately no one in the sports media in this town walks around impressed with themselves. As humble as the day is long the whole bunch of them.”

I like power trios and EDM.  No vocals in my EDM either, strictly techno.  I’m dumbing my life down dramatically, even in music I hate these big backing bands or horns.  I fucking hate horns.  Pianos, keys.  Give me a drummer, bass player and guitarist and one of them better be handling vocals.  Or just a DJ.  By next week I’ll be on the grain alcohol/rain water regimen.

Saw that. Too nice and doesn’t note the fact that they have ZERO to be impressed with.

I thought it clearly delayed Rask from sliding across. Either way the good guys did not come to play tonight. A chance to tie it up was a fortunate outcome.

I would not have called the goalie interference, fwiw.

Feejis spot on. B’s no show.   They looked tired and emotionless.   Was very surprised how they came out.   Same problems getting the puck out of their end.  The answer sure doesn’t seem to be more John Moore, but I don’t Know what choice they  have.

I just opened my Tufts Alumni magazine, got to page 8 and found a big splashy article about David Costabile (Wags in Billions, Gale in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, etc.), Tufts ’89. Love the guy. Then I was immediately conflicted when I saw the author was one John Tomase, Tufts ’95

    :puke:

What to do, what to do. 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

It ended up being a nice straightforward piece, no hot takez in sight. But I need decontamination now.

I was looking up Gonzaga College HS in Washington DC and Costabile’s name popped up. Odd name considering there is no Gonzaga College only the “U” which of course is in Spokane.

Tufts evens up the score vs Holy Cross (Booth and Shank) in terms of obnoxious media personalities (Mazz and Tomase). Wonder who the tiebreaker is?

Amazing the top seed in each conference won a combined 1 game in the first round.

Only 1 Canadian team left in the playoffs.   Would be nice if the Bruins came out strong today and moved one step closer to keeping the Stanley Cup Canadian Free since 1993.
