I’m not even sure Springsteen likes baseball. If he did he certainly wouldn’t have used “speedball”February 2, 2016 at 2:21 pm #34855
Holy shit, this NJ set list is amazing.
Get ready for a lot of sad onions from me when he boots Rosalita off the list for Thursday.February 2, 2016 at 2:23 pm #34856
Never really listened much to the second disc of The River until this week.
Drive All Night is an underrated epic!February 2, 2016 at 2:24 pm #34857
Drive All Night is great I actually had that as my ring tone a few years ago.February 2, 2016 at 2:36 pm #34863Major IntangiblesParticipant
So now I have to look for all the ‘monologueing Springsteen’ posts for Thursday? I’m like a pin monkey over here.

I like knowing the set list ahead of time so I can pre-plan a bathroom/beer break.
Right now I’m leaning towards bolting near the end of The River, and skipping Point Blank in hopes of getting back before Cadillac Ranch.February 2, 2016 at 2:47 pm #34871
See I’m the opposite I’d rather see Point Blank than Cadillac Ranch so will probably pass in the concourse. Or you could just buy me a few.
Other good beer buying opportunities will be Crush on You/You Can Look back to back.February 2, 2016 at 8:46 pm #34919The Zolak ExperienceParticipant
I hope one of you are stuck next to one of the media idiots.

Great, detailed interview with Tedeschi & Trucks on Radio.com.
I love the clip towards the bottom of them on stage with BB. He’s so clearly in awe of the both of them, which must be pretty cool.February 5, 2016 at 10:22 am #35524

Anybody manage to get Pearl Jam tickets today?February 12, 2016 at 8:55 pm #37104
Forgot and tried around 2PM. Gone. Someone had also sent me the pre-sale link and password last week and I forgot then also. Oh well.February 12, 2016 at 9:50 pm #37114JasonParticipant
I’ve got tickets for both nights. Friday night got tix through 10 club and Sunday tix online today. What a shit show trying to buy tickets through the Red Sox ticketing system. They announced both shows sold out 22 minutes after going on sale.February 19, 2016 at 12:24 pm #37945ChiefParticipant

Our library had a book sale the other day, and they were selling CDs for a buck. Loaded up on a wide variety, but one of the things I got that I had never heard was the Spaghetti Incident. What a clusterfuck.March 1, 2016 at 8:59 am #39317
Not sure why Isbell doesn’t close the show with Decoration Day or Never Gonna Change. Both are amazing live.March 1, 2016 at 11:12 am #39342LebronParticipant

Sounds like they are talking about a tour after Coachella, which sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.March 9, 2016 at 3:05 pm #40884
Chico, where or what is the Columbus Theatre? Is it really an old pornhouse?
DBT’s tonight.March 9, 2016 at 3:20 pm #40897chicowalkerParticipant
It’s on Broadway (parallel w/Atwells ave, you’d take the Atwells Ave exit off 95 if you were coming from 95 south) It was a porn theatre for a good long while, but reinvented the last 15 years or so. It’s a great place- it’s a classic old theatre from the 1920’s that had to do what it had to to survive. There’s the main stage and a smaller upstairs room. Before they transitioned over to being legit, they tested the waters by having small shows upstairs while downstairs was still doing porn. I lived for years in that neighborhood and went to a lot of those shows- always fun to see the hipsters and the Gameres walk by each other in the lobby.
When we were kids we used to call their number to hear what was coming up- the voice on the message was a smooth brahmin-esque baritone that would say things like “Thank you for calling the Columbus Theatre for the finest in quality adult featurrrres…tonight we are showing On Golden Blonde at 7 and Prizzi’s In Her at 9…the Columbus Theatre is located…”
decent pizza place right across the street too, plus Julians a block down if you’re getting dinnerMarch 9, 2016 at 3:29 pm #40899
I swear when I bought the tix it was originally supposed to be at The Met in Pawtucket. Sometime between now and then it moved there.
It’s a general admission show, but the place has seats? Not sure how that works.
My wife went to PC, and always drags me to Caserta’s before Friars hockey games, so I was Mage thinking of going there first since I know where it is.
