You can almost hear in Sarah Koenig’s voice that even she thinks the Bowe Bergdahl case is a stinker.

Why not just call this episode of WTF “You’re Not Interested, Kevin”.

Also, an eating disorder? How much of a beta male is Marc Maron?

Comedian Nikki Glaser and Marc share a bond that might be deeper than love: They share an eating disorder. Nikki and Marc talk about how they’ve both struggled, where they’ve found support, and what they needed to fix elsewhere in their lives in order to make progress. Also, Marc…

I was actually fascinated by it, it was brutally honest.  Also, she’s apparently a big porn freak.

You know what sucks?  Skype calls on podcasts.  Fucking make a west coast trip Gilbert.  I need 2 hours of Ileana Douglass sounding like she’s underwater like I need a third ball.

For some ungodly reason I listened to Robert Wuhl interview Sean McDonough

Told of how an Aunt came back into Saint Willie’s funeral and claimed to have seen Whitey outside the church – “I’ve known him all my life and I can never forget those eyes.”

Sean doubled down by saying a cousin or some such (think Ferris and 31 flavors) asked Whitey about it while he was locked up down in Plymouth and Whitey confirmed the story.

Also claims that his father really wasn’t that close to Bulger (the Globe book claims will used to brag about visiting Jimmy in Leavenworth when the Sox would play in Kansas City) and that he was far more friendly with “President” Bulger.

In a Ray Clayborn related twist, Sean claims he almost came to blows with Danny Ferry over some alleged disrespect thrown Sean’s GM brother’s way.

I’m only half way through, but Maron did a heck of an interview with David Simon.

Maron’s 700th with Julia Louis Dreyfus is great. Psyched for the second half with Louis CK

SUPER deep dive into Horace & Pete.  Very interesting though.

Patton Oswalt’s wife died last night.  46 years old.

Might lead to fewer Dollops for a bit, Dave Anthony was real shook up.

Got turned on to a podcast called My Brother, My Brother and Me.  Hilarious.

    Listened to Kirk and TEC.

    The Bedard quote was great.

Tom also mentioned that in his opinion Bert was being contentious with BB for the sake of being contentious “merit badge” from other media members.

Felger doesn’t like the fact that he’s “demonized” when Mike claims he is only trying to do his job I found hysterical.

I hope TEC is the one who writes the book about the entire BB/Brady era – either on his own or in collaboration with Tom or Bill.

    Wasn’t it? It’s perfect Bedard.

Thinks people read him for his fabulous opinions.

Also liked the part where Curran takes apart the bullshit sports radio mentality that Minihane has to pretend that a bad pitching change in April is the end of the world.

It really was, I think that the majority of them feel that way – I really do. Went original LJ there at the end.

I should have thought better than to listen to the Lore Podcast while  walking my dogs in the would. At least I’d have a chance against the vampire chipmunks.

Meanwhile the Lore podcaster says he is in development for a tv series with the walking dead folks

    Id watch it.

Haven’t listened to a Steve Austin podcast in months based on the descriptions. He sure thinks that guy who runs his ranch is a lot more interesting than I do.

Patton wrote a pretty amazing obit on the Time website.  Guy has to be going though hell.

Austin has material for one podcast a week but an obligation to do two a week.

Working backwards through the Dollop archives. The “Cereal Men” episode around episode 40 or so guest starring Patton Oswald is outstanding.  The “big reveal” hit Gareth like the Red Wedding hit unsuspecting Game of Throne fans.

That’s one of the great one….re-listened to it on my way to a thing a couple weeks ago.

Going back to the well of baseball was great for this week’s on Disco Demolition Night.  They have had some great baseball stories: The Rube, 10 Cent Beer Night, Lenny Dykstra, the Yankee Pitcher Swap.

They really need to do a Darren Daulton one, what with the drugs and the UFO shit.  Also, the Dock Ellis no hitter, but even Gary might know that.

Half way through season 2 of Bosch. I never read the books.

I love Amazon Video because you can cache shows in the iPad app to watch on a plane. Good to have on and fall asleep to.

One thing I have to say-Titus Welliver does better acting in those ads he’s in.
