I’ve been in in Power. Almost need subtitles for 50’s dialogue
October 2, 2015 at 1:05 pm #9411Yay, Fargo’s almost back. For you guys who work in the city:
To celebrate its return to FX, FARGO is giving fans a taste of Minnesota nice by sending the FARGO Waffle Wagon to Chicago, Boston and New York City ahead of the October 12 premiere of its second installment. Designed and styled after the 1970s setting of the new installment, the FARGO Waffle Wagon will be offering free Waffles on a Stick to consumers and fans in the three locations, culminating in New York City on the weekend before the premiere.
The FARGO Waffle Wagon began its journey in Los Angeles on September 20 on Emmy weekend and is next set to appear in:
Boston – Boston City Hall (Inside Plaza) Wednesday, October 7th Hours: 9:30am – 6:30pm
October 5, 2015 at 11:10 am #9743Forget the 2001: A Space Odyssey beginning the super random Larry from Perfect Strangers bit was the biggest WTF part of the Leftovers return.

That’s was pretty great.
I really liked the new direction of the show.

October 5, 2015 at 11:56 am #9773Also the guy who played the fortune teller/palm reader whose house they burned down was from another ABC sitcom, Family Matters.
October 5, 2015 at 11:58 am #9776Also saw that trailer for Billions on Showtime with Giamatti and Damian Lewis. Looked good.
October 6, 2015 at 7:33 am #9979Anyone else still watching Homeland?
I thought it was nice of the Hezbollah terrorists to drop Carrie off right on her doorstep rather than make her walk home.
Do they use GPS or do they take the bag off her head so she can tell them where to turn?
October 6, 2015 at 8:31 am #9992watched Bastard Executioner because they clearly spent money on it, the evil baron guy died and I still can’t tell him and the evil chancellor guy apart
October 6, 2015 at 9:43 am #10008i still watch homeland. it wasn’t so nice, because she has to go back and get her bicycle. the other possibility is that’s how uber does it in germany

Perfect “yes,and”.
What do you think Hezbollah’s Uber passenger rating is?
“Comments: couldn’t get the goat smell out of my car for weeks, and the guy wouldn’t stop chatting my ear off about ‘Death to America!’ “
October 6, 2015 at 10:21 am #10034I’d be more interested if the show was more about Quinn. Carrie and her on the meds/off the meds bit is tiresome, let alone her being some head of security and her back and forths with Saul.
October 6, 2015 at 10:28 am #10041Watched the American Experience on Walt Disney. It was a bit longer than it needed to be but definitely enjoyed it. Didn’t realize he was so involved with commie/anti labor movement.

Seconded. I thought he would be more of a weirdo and didn’t know the stuff with that strike and how it changed him from thinking it was all one big happy family where he got all the credit. The park opening with Art Linkletter hosting was surreal.
October 6, 2015 at 5:06 pm #10194Yeah when they went into FantasyLand at the end…not that there’s anything wrong with that.
October 8, 2015 at 9:10 pm #10731Regina King’s husband on the Leftovers looks like a ten year NBA shooting guard.
October 9, 2015 at 9:03 am #10775The weekly Draft Kings plug on “The League” feels completely organic and not shoehorned in at all.
October 13, 2015 at 9:35 am #11329“Fargo” is ridiculously good.
October 13, 2015 at 10:16 am #11342And that second episode of the Leftovers? Fantastic.
The Affair is slipping. If the conceit is no longer that this is an interrogation what’s the point of differing points of view. Ok we all give in to self-delusion but not to that degree. It’s not even an unreliable narrator it’s just the freedom of the writers to tell whatever fucking story they feel like without the constraints of the world they’ve constructed. I like the show but it’s such a cheat.
October 13, 2015 at 11:09 am #11360Loved how the guy got emotional and went on about the sleepwalking and the suicide and the burial and the broad sums up her issues with “I hire prostitutes to shoot me”
October 13, 2015 at 11:17 am #11366Agreed on The Affair I like it and will continue to watch but some of it down to different clothing seems pointless and doing it just to do it.
While I’m sure I’ll watch Vinyl enough on the previews with how rebellious rock and roll is.
October 15, 2015 at 10:19 am #11734I feel like the Fargo guy is trolling Ron Swanson pop cultists by giving Nick Offerman a beard without the mustache.
October 18, 2015 at 12:42 pm #12176Someone mentioned The League earlier. Have been binging it. Hilarious show.
October 18, 2015 at 2:16 pm #12191Finished “Narcos”. Liked it more and more as it went on.
Just finished it and I agree.
October 19, 2015 at 10:31 am #12643<p style=”text-align: left;”>I caught up on Public Morals this weekend and it’s great once it gets rolling. Brian Dennehey, being Brian Dennehey and doing Brian Dennehey things</p>
