Yes down 11 you can get 8 and 3.
It seems like in general when a team needs two TDS and one of them requires a two point conversion the team waits to try the two after the second score. Sometimes I would do the opposite. If you miss on the two you know you have to get an extra score or a TD instead of a fg….might change your strategy
All that Jimmy G interminable shit and he blows his knee out. So let’s roll out the EGA Blame Pie, who’s fault was it: Bill, Tommy or Robert?
Why won’t the narrative be that Belichick fleeced the 49ers by getting a second round pick for an injury prone backup?
Oh, never mind. I forgot.
Unrelated, but the Colts…

I’d call it Ron Borges Derangement Syndrome, a wideout is not drafted, prompting a “On a Day Where…” column which looks ridiculous when the wideout pans out and the guy they drafted is decent.

was he also thinking that since BB wasn’t from Baltimore proper, he wasn’t hood enough to be HC of the NYG?
My memory may be failing (and haven’t read the Post thing) but I seem to recall that, after Soupey XXIV (or whatever it was), Parcells waited until after Modell hired Belichick before he “reti…

Not that it matters at all in the general scheme of things, but it would have been nice for the Sox to clinch last night with a ninth inning rally considering the Yankees pissed all over themselves in that frame.
There was even a Gary Sanchez passed ball on strike three to lead off the inning that went to the backstop, but caromed right back to…[Read more]
Was flipping channels last night between the Sox, Scarface* and a DVRd Better Call Saul.
Got to see the 1983 Mark Margolis get blown away more or less as the 2018 Mark Margolis was checking out some nurse’s butt. And Don Eladio’s in Scarface too.
*Showtime is playing that and Inglourious Basterds to death the past month.

The end of the game when it was more or less mathematically impossible to give Pitt the ball back the Chiefs (a) nearly fumbled the exchange from center and (b) handed the ball off once or twice more. Let’s just…[Read more]

YES (known affectionately by some as Al-Yankzeera) proclaimed the Yanks the team to beat now that Judge can pinch run and play the field.

Fitting that the first ejection for targeting after the rule changes was “awarded” to a Bengal.
By the way, a Wake Forest guy should have gotten bounced last night. Do colleges review films after games and punish guys?
I don’t think “and he blew it” was a Beatles song.
I watched Copland over the weekend for the 96th time
At least three Soprano minor characters in that one, plus Henry Hill and Jimmy Conway.

Then you have college football, where the review situation is completely out of hand.
Exhibit A was the BC/Holy Cross game. BC was up big, perhaps 42-0 at the time. HC had second down and 8. Low screen pass to an HC running back, probably 2 yards behind the LOS, guy catches and/or traps it as he’s falling to the ground, so even…[Read more]
