Alex Cora (Bench Coach). Cora was involved in developing both the banging scheme and utilizing the replay review room to decode and transmit signs. Cora participated in both schemes, and through his active participation, implicitly condoned the players’conduct. I will withhold determining the appropriate level of discipline for Cora until after th…
I would guess Jerry’s answer to everything is ‘smoke a pack of Pall Malls’
The old board would’ve had a field day with an Ask Jerry live chat.
Weird. I was getting a Cloudfire (so server side, not my work network I don’t think) blacklisted IP error at work yesterday, then logged on from home today and saw no posts so I thought it was everyone. Maybe just me.
So it looks like the site was blocked (or still is blocked) by the blacklist for everyone else too? Odd, and sad.

I couldn’t remember the game where I’d seen it get called, but I knew it was a penalty:
It was obviously a penalty, you just used to see it with the fullback pushing the QB from behind over the pile, not pulling from in front.
Someone could have looked that up but I’m sure they were too busy researching Bra…[Read more]

Maybe I missed it but what was the explanation for the Pats having to call a time-out before the 1st play of the game?
Howe and Reiss said Redskins came out in an OT eligible formation and the Pats didn’t have the personnel to match up.
Tell you what, that lost coin toss is Dee Ford’s best friend.
Sources told The Athletic there were people at Chung’s house that night, but they left the residence to go elsewhere. The house alarm was later triggered, prompting police to report to the scene. Inside, they found cocaine when no one was home, the sources said. No one was arrested that night.
Lawyer types: this doesn’t stick does it? Unless this it out in the open under a sign that said “free cocaine” it’s an illegal search, right?
Chung wasn’t arrested in June because he wasn’t in NH at the time. Police entered his home responding to a house alarm, found the coke on a table.
Local guys are getting scooped by the Laconia Daily Sun – a free paper that’s all ads and local press releases. I can’t even post a link to the article without WordPress flagging the site as spam.

I don’t like this: Patrick Chung indicted on cocaine possession?
Steve Buckley is the reason I’m not re-upping my Athletic scholarship. Today he’s advocating for the Red Sox to retire Clemens’ number. Even the Herald decided paying for this shit wasn’t worth it.
I cancelled the Athletic over Buckley but then gave in and reupped a few months later (using another 40% off code). I ignore 75% of what…[Read more]

If Brady didn’t like his contract why did he sign it?
They got him in a room, obviously. Signing is the only way out.
It’s not like Brady’s going to have an open house on Saturday with best and final offers on Tuesday. Takes a little while to sell a $40m home.
Do we have a compilation of those? That’s where I was going with the warship thing too.
There might have been a list back when Pete was ‘blown away’ by the response to the marathon bombings.
Joe Gill is on LinkedIn begging for people to pay his way to some social media thingamajig.
His poor kid, Jesus. He’s gonna grow up thinking the world owes him…everything.
I think this is the first time 40+ year old Joe Gill and “he’s gonna grow up” have been featured in the same sentence.
